Who is our Enemy?

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Eph 6:12)
I know some of us pray this "Enemy fall down and die" prayer. Got nothing against it but the truth the major fight ain't against a physical person but against spiritual force. Sure Devil will use a human being to get at you but he has millions of people to use, so are you will pray a million prayer points to kill them all. (I strongly doubt that).
Your enemy might fall down and die (indeed) but the spiritual forces will simply look for another body to enter into and resume the tormenting. That is why most of us live our lives fighting and asking enemies to keep on dying. Have you ever ask yourself why they haven't die completely. Sure someone might need to die in order for you to scale through but much more than that, love your enemy (That is in Jesus tone). Pray for them that seek your downfall.
When you are to fight, remember this, that human being ain't your real enemy. Your enemies are the rulers of darkness, the evil stronghold. Until you attack the root-cause, your will never eliminate/eradicate the problems completely. Sure Devil will use a human being to get at you but he has millions of people to use, so are you will pray a million prayer point to kill them all. (I strongly doubt that). I will rather spend one hour praising God rather than pray for that somebody to die (which might never die. Shocked?)
For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds (2 Cor 10:4).
Do you just read that? You’ve got to pull down stronghold and not just that somebody. When you pull down the stronghold, the 'enemy die' stuff is needless. Fight the right fight and you will enjoy your life

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
