Life is a Risk

Take that Risk! It’s risky to take a risk but it’s more risky not to take a risk.  Life is all about risk. I mean nothing is certain which is what risk is. Nothing is guaranteed but you still ram actions inspite, that is RISK All decisions involve some degree of risk. To succeed in life, you have to take some risky steps. Truth is you don’t know everything and you can’t know everything but you got to act with the info you have. There are ways to minimize risk, it is to minimize risk, so there is till risk involved. Arm yourself with enough knowledge about what you are risking on. Don’t make decision based on your emotions. You don’t make money following your emotions.  Have a minimum loss to what you are risking on. Like the popular stop loss in forex trading. You must know when to stop. Don’t be greedy or outrightly foolish Be hopeful and stop looking back once you make that decision, stick to what you want to do. Try as much as possible to avoid indecision especially at the last mi

Water Your Seeds

Last week, I wrote about Planting (Click Here to read the last post if you miss it). There are times when we plant and there are times to harvest. Now the period between the planting and harvest is when we have to water what we have planted. So yes, there is a time to water. After planting your seed, you got to water that seed. Watering the seed entails doing what will makes the seed to germinate well and give you a bountiful harvest. When we plant our seed, we don’t just leave it at that and goes about waiting for harvest. One of the ways to water your seed is by Speaking the Right Words.   Speak the right words to your s eed. What you speak over your seed is what will happen . If you keep telling yourself that you can’t pass that examination, I bet you might fail it. If you keep telling yourself you can’t start that project, you might not. If you keep tearing yourself down with words, you will might eventually go down. Speak the right words to your seed, even when against

A Time To Plant

‘…a Time to Plant and a time to Harvest….’ – The Preacher   Hello Folks, It’s the third week of the Year 2022. I came across a bible verse in church today; Ecclesiastes Chapter 3:3 “A time to plant and a time to harvest” I couldn’t shake my head off that phrase ‘a time to plant….’   Many times, we expect harvest when we haven’t planted. A farmer knows very well that He will only harvest what He planted. You plant Mango, you will harvest mango. You plant nothing, you surely will harvest nothing. You can’t harvest what you do not plant, that is not how life works.   The year is still in its early stages, what are you planting? This is time to plant. You plant that seed of what you want to harvest. For some, that seed might be to go on a date or to brainstorm with a friend, for some, it’s to do invest, for some, it’s to go for more training. For some to plant is to read certain books or take a professional course. For another, to plant is to invest time in the pl

Be Intentional

Compliment of the season folks. Trust the year is starting out well for you. Hope you read my previous post (you can read it HERE ) which I encourage you to do less to achieve more. Don’t do too many things at the same time. So few things and give them your best shot. Another ingredient  I want to add to the mix is ‘ Be Intentional about the things you want to do this year. The reason why folks procrastinate a lot is because they are not deliberate about the things they want to do. You can list out so many things to do this year but if you are not intentional about them, you will procrastinate on most things. To be intentional is to be deliberate and discipline about the things you want to do. You want to get that Master Degree, You want to buy that property, you want to expand your business etc. you must be intentional about it which means if you. Need to disciplined yourself to save more, you do it. If you need to attend seminar, you do it. Whatever it takes. You don’t just list t

Happy New Year 2022

Happy New Year Family! 🥰 I promise myself to give attention to blogging this year, at least put up a post every week.  Officially, we are in the year 2022. To be honest, nothing seem different except the normal new year frenzy which will soon blow away and reality will set in. I just have one prayer for you: may this year be favourable for you. The past two years has really been a tough ones. Jobs were lost, businesses crashed, there was global disruptions that affect the average middle class, the pandemic really change the world outlook. But truth be told, you still survived it. There is hope for a tree that has been cut down, that it can sprout again. This year 2022, never say never. Personally I plan to do less and achieve more. I ain’t gonna stress myself with all the yearly resolutions here and done. I’m just gonna be me and do me. Yes, me. It might sound selfish but I’m gonna be paying more attention to myself, my mental health, my relationship, my health, my finances. It’s a ye
