Letter To My Daughter 3

Dear Daughter, How are you? It's been a while I wrote you your second letter, I'm sure you read and understood all therein. As I told you earlier in your first,  you will be reading more letters from me over time. I'm writing this letters for you and every daughter on the surface of the earth. The earth is in a funny state currently, social media has gone crazier than when I wrote you your first letter. Everyone seeks fame, riches, power at the expense of their own happiness and even life. And yes, Marlian happened. Lol. In this letter, I want to encourage you to be known for who you are inside out. Don't be desperate to be rich, famous or powerful. Be who you are, a child of God. One major problem with daughters of nowadays is how they can be accepted by God and also be accepted by the World. They want both which is impossible. Don't be long where you don't belong. You will surely reign in life but before reigning precedes training.

Unity, Not Divison

United we stand, divided we fall - unknown One of the best to win a war is by causing divisions in the opposition's camp. That strategy works like fire. Jesus rightly said that "Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and every city or house divided against itself shall not stand" (Matthew 12:25). One of the crises we have in the world today arises as a result of divisions. Unity is a strength while division is a weakness. To be united is to be a team, to be united is to be our brother's keeper. to be united is not to discriminate our fellow humans. No one progresses with a divided mindset.  Unity is to be bonded together; Divisions is to be kept apart. Unity is a bridge over divisions. To be united doesn't mean there are no differences. However, those differences do not have to become division if one thing is kept in mind: Unity. We all deserve respect from other people. We all have to be open to others’ ideas, even if they

God's Mercy

“With the merciful You will show Yourself merciful …” 2 Samuel 22:26. In the Bible, the virtues of mercy and compassion are mentioned in various forms hundreds of times, especially in describing God’s nature. Instead of giving us what we deserve, God has shown mercy again and again, not to take away our responsibility, but to give us a chance to repent and be saved. We can ask ourselves: What have we done with that opportunity? As undeserving recipients of God’s mercy, nothing else would be fitting than that we ourselves show unreserved mercy and compassion for other people. Indeed, we are commanded to be merciful as God is merciful!  The Bible even speaks about compassion and care for animals. Compassion is to share the pain and suffering (Bible often mentions suffering. Though this can refer to outward, physical suffering, in the New Covenant it mostly applies to the suffering that occurs when you deny your own sinful lusts and desires and put them) of others, and a

Will I Ever Be Good Enough?

I never knew my dad. He and my mom divorced before I turned 1. After my mom and I moved to the United States from El Salvador, she remarried, and I finally felt like I had a family. But my relationship with my stepdad was never good. I desired love from a father. I wanted that special father-daughter relationship. I wanted to be loved, so I looked to create my identity outside of my family. I needed the approval of those around me. But nothing filled that hole. My junior year of high school, my mom and stepdad got divorced. I was angry, confused, hurt and unwanted. I turned to boys, alcohol and drugs to find approval. Substances became my escape. My need for acceptance was only met with hurt. It was during this time that I was raped. I was at my lowest point. There was no one I could turn to. I desperately wanted a father to protect and love me. I felt worthless and became convinced this was all life had to offer. During my second week of college, I was invited

MUSIC: Goodness of God

Last year, there is this song written by the award Behel Music group titled 'Goodness of God'. That song blesses me through year 2019. It's also a song that you will enjoy as well. All what we enjoy are nothing but the goodness of God. Below are the song lyrics and video. I love You, Lord For Your mercy never failed me All my days, I’ve been held in Your hands From the moment that I wake up Until I lay my head Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God And all my life You have been faithful And all my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God I love Your voice You have led me through the fire And in darkest night You are close like no other I’ve known You as a Father I’ve known You as a Friend And I have lived in the goodness of God, yeah! And all my life  You have been faithful, oh And all my life You have been so, so good With every breath that I am able Oh, I will si

Creative Collaboration

Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor - The Preacher Collaboration is the process of working with someone to produce something. There are many advantages in collaboration. Two heads are better than one because there is strength in diversity. One of the strengths of the Western countries is in their collaborations. They work together. Alone, you walk fast but together we walk far. With a collaborative effort, a big job can be completed in very little time. Collaboration is teamwork.  To collaborate mean to cooperate, it means to be a team member, it is to be accommodating of each other ideas, opinions and suggestions. Creative Collaboration is a powerful tool for business owners, regardless of the industry. Collaborations is a powerful way to forge connections that can be profitable to everyone involved. The future is for the collaborators. Every good and creative collaboration pushes you further to success. Collaboration al

2020: Start of a Defining Decade

This is the start of a new decade. There are some things you should understand. The world is going so digital that you won't be able to compete if you are not into tech. Jobs will be lost, unemployment will rise because automation will rise. Artificial intelligence is on the rise. I just read now that AL diagnosed breast cancer very well more than the medical doctors. What does this means for you? This decade will see so many upsets. The modern is fast eroding traditions. The generation Z are really going to be a force to reckon with. What this means for you and I is except we align strategically, we will be left behind. Look into the future and align yourself in such a way that you will be a force to reckon with. Are you still doing business without an online presence? Are you still working in a traditional way? Do you still carry out your job functions the way you did it 10 years ago? Social media is a make or mar for you. Be careful of what you post online. Start inv
