When something is broken in the home, wives say call someone to fix it. Men say, why when I can do it myself even though he doesn’t know how to. In the workplace some people have a ton of work to do, but they refuse to ask their co-workers for help. Be strong enough to stand on your own, Smart enough to know when you need help and Brave enough to ask for it. In life, we all need one another at one point or the other. Don't be proud not to ask for help. Our ego and pride shouldn't get in the way of getting help. Life is not designed for you to go through it alone. You hear frequently these days that 'politics is a dangerous game', you can't be this or that except you joing the company of the wicked. That is a partial truth. One of the reaso for political crisis in Africa is because Christians have believe politics is no longer for them. Some Christians wouldn't even vote because they believe it is the wicked that will determine the winner. That is far from the truth. Human trafficking is so common these days and even an anonymous call or tip to the police . If you endure discipline, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father discipline not? - Hebrews 12:7 When a child err, a good parent will rebuke such child. When your child err and you don't rebuke such act, you are not a good parent. Proper upbringing of children involves us disciplining them because of their future. If your love your children, you discipline them because in the long run, you will be bringing up great men/women. In the same way, God disciplines us when we err because He wants the best for us. Many of us are what we are because God's Love and discipline kept us on the right lane. Some of us are going through certain unpalatable phases in life because God want to discipline us so as to be the best. You can never be the best without discipline. Moses enjoy a fantastic relationship with God because of good communication. The more you communicate with a person, the more you tend to know the person. Jesus Wept - John 11:35 What!!! Jesus cried... at one point in our loved, we've lost closed ones and loved ones. It hurt so bad, it's so painfully. But you know what? It's okay to grieve. Jesus lost His friend Lazarus and He grieve. This is God in human form. He felt what we felt. One characteristic of humans is that we are emotional. We celebrate, We grieve, We rejoice, We weep. And we do so with Jesus as one of us. It's okay to cry, but we have assurance that one day, He will wipe away our every tear, not because he us suppressing it. And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made thee a god to Pharaoh: - Exodus 7:1 One thing that is inevitable are challenges, problems... but the good news is we can overcome all these challenges. How do you see challenges will determine how you will solve it.    Some many of us have our own Pharaoh. Pharaoh are persistent, stubborn problems/challenges. God told Moses to SEE. Until You see the solution, you can't solve it. God has created us to be gods and have dominion over all things including our pharaoh (challenges). There is a connection between wisdom and wealth. When you have wisdom, you have wealth. When you have financial intelligence, there is financial increase. Wealth (or poverty) is a lifestyle sponsored by a mind-set. Poor folks have the hunter mentality (kill n eat) while Wealthy folks have the the shepherd mentality (Breed n multiply). Money is not wealth. Politicians after leaving office struggled to maintain their lifestyle. Wealth is not what is outside you but what is inside you. Wealth without Wisdom is a rich fool... Most times we tend to focus on the negativity of life, it's a default setting in humans... There is no one who doesn't have a reason to glorify God. No One! Any Achievement that you don't glorify God for won't last long . We don't need to see tangible (visible) miracles before we glorify God. Those that are thankful never remain the same because they are worthy of greater blessings. If you think there are greater or better things to do than thank God, Think Again! So whatever you do, remember this is not your home. So how do we live in this world that is not ours? -   Renew Your Mind. Apostle Paul says 'Do not conform to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind' - Romans 12:1 You were born into a sinful world, we ain't going to get out of the sinfulness unless the mind is renewed. The ways of the world is evil, their thinking is wrong. You got to renew your mind.... Renewal of mind is what brings transformation.   why "mind renewal" is so important?   1) Whoever directs your mind is ultimately going to direct your life; and 2) If there is no "mind" change, then there will never be any "life" change either. How do you Renew your Mind? Through The Word of God. You only get to know the mind of God through His Word.
