For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. - 2 Corinthians 1:20
The words of God are yea and amen. Everything God says will come to pass; Everything. Many times, it seems what God said is not happening as we want. Though it may tarry, His words will never return unfulfilled.
God does not play on words – He says what He means and means what He says. His words are yea and amen. In fact, heaven and earth can pass away, but His word cannot. You need to come to terms with the immutability of the word of God. When God says a thing, then He does not need you to bring it to pass. His word has enough power to come to pass.
Think about it: is there any word of Jesus that did not come to pass? When He rebuked the wind, it obeyed. When He spoke to the sea, it stopped. When He spoke to the dead, they came alive. When He spoke to the sick, irrespective of the sickness, they got healed. When the tax collectors came, His word brought the money in the mouth of the fish. When he spoke to the tree, it obeyed and dried up.
His words are yea means His words are always in the affirmative. His words are Amen means it will surely come to pass.
Anything God says is settled. That is why as believers, do you believe what God says concerning you? Do you hold onto His promises knowing they are yea and amen?
Difficulties will sent in, things will be rough, the devil as usual will try to discourage through various method, doubts will sent in. Nevertheless, as believers, we hold on the promises of God in His words because no matter what happen, we will always triumph in the word.
Take time out to look at every promise God has made to you and begin to thank Him for them. Thank God for that house, the car, the job, the school, the admission, the finance, the spouse, the child, whatever it is you have asked Him for. You might be faced with contrary situation, but in it, rejoice. Thank Him that it is done. When Jesus cursed the fig tree, He moved on. He did not sit around to watch if the tree will die or not. He knew that it was impossible for His word to fall to the ground. In fact when the disciples expressed surprise the next day, He simply told them the principle – have faith and doubt not, you can say to the mountain, be removed and cast into the sea and it shall be done (Matt. 21:21).
God has said it, don't stress it, believe and rely you will see the manifestation of his promises. God's word never fail, wait for it, hold on to it, for it is sure and it will come to pass.
I pray for you that everything delaying the manifestation of God's word over your life be removed.
It's a beautiful day for you!
Shalom!
