Corona-virus: Perilous Times...

But know in the last days perilous times will come....                                       - 2 Timothy 3:1

Its no news that all over the world, there is turmoil, safe havens are fast becoming deadly. Economies are shaking and crumbling. No one seems to have a solution to the ongoing crisis. We are in a heightened period of uncertainty. We don’t what will happen next. Coronavirus is really causing panic and fear in the minds of people. There was a large explosion recorded in a part of Lagos, Nigeria. A lot of people died and properties were destroyed.

Yes, its normal to have questions, you sometimes wonder, what the earth is turning into? Religious leaders honestly try their best to reassure their followers. Its end time they say. I am writing not just to reassure you or give you a fake calming. Truth is things will still get tougher, more difficult. This is not to scare you. God has told us all these things in advance so that we can know, get prepared and not be fearful.

Everyone want to know, what is the solution? How do we overcome this deadly plague? We all have been affected directly or indirectly. So we want answers, solutions.

Fear Not
If you could really take time and study, the fear of coronavirus is even more than the coronavirus itself. That is the mission of this plague, to bring fear into the minds of people, to cause panic in the midst of people, believers and unbelievers alike. I’m not surprise that its actually happening. Before this plaque started, God actually gave me two psalms, Psalm 91 and 23 in the place of prayers. I would not know why until the plague started. We must not let fear take hold of us in times like this. It’s the end times, so many bad things will happen but we are not to fear but rather hold on to the promises of God that all this wouldn’t come near our dwelling, we would always be overcomers in all situations.

Be Prayerful
Times like these are times where we should be praying more and more not for ourselves but for others too as well. Intercessory prayers go a long way, it’s time we come together and rebuke the enemy over our lives and affairs. Prayers Changes things. Anytime, things are good and okay, we should pray. And when things are down and scary, we should pray as well.

Personal Hygiene
Cleanliness is next to godliness; we need to make sure our personal hygiene is top notch. Washing our hands regularly wit soap and water, the use of sanitizers in public place, avoid large gathering for now and many other advices from health officials should be followed. Faith without works is vain. Because you are a believer doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do the right thing or what is expected of you.  This is not the time for us to be careless about our health. This virus is deadly especially for the aged folks. If you suspect you are infected, self-isolate yourself immediately. Report to the nearest clinic or call the toll-free numbers if you are feeling unwell and showing the symptoms of coronoavirus.

I hope to write more in the coming days on this plaque, till then, we all have a duty to fear not, be prayerful and keep ourselves clean. Health officials are really trying their best, let’s support them.

I pray for you that the blood of Jesus will shield you from this plaque, it will not come near your dwellings, everyone connected with you are safe. For those infected, I decree and declare the healing hands of the Lord over you. Coronavirus is cursed down to its root and in the name of Jesus, I command it to varnish away from the earth.

Stay blessed!

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

Song Lyrics: Status is Changing

Pastor Andre Jones of the sacred Assembly, United States, wrote a song that has brought comfort to many through out the world Many artists has cover the song notably Vashawn Mitchell, Mario Ese & the Tribe of Benjamin. The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Song: These Walls

You are good and do good;....  - Psalm 119:68  Few months back, I came across an inspiring song by Jason David who happens to be a pastor.  He was diagnosed with cancer. After a year-long fight with cancer that claimed much of his tongue, Pastor Jason David refuses to stop singing. "These Walls" is an original worship song he wrote that became his anthem as he fought through several surgeries, chemotherapy & radiation. For someone going through challenges; financial, health, marital, academic, whatever it may be, I pray this song will bless you - no matter what walls or mountains you may face, God is greater & God is good!  Below are the lyrics of the song: Verse: You are greater than these walls I'm circling  You are stronger than these army  I see You are bigger than these mountains that I faced And I will choose only to praise You. Pre - Chorus  This is my song, these is my dare To worship you even as thes...
