What Do You See: Half Filled or Half Empty?

God answered Moses, "See!..." - Exodus 7:1

Happy New Month to you. This is the first day in the month of August of a challenging year 2020. This year has been a kinda mixed year for a lot of folks no doubt but it's ain't over yet. You may not have started this year well but you can surely end it well. It all depends on how you see it.

Some folks see 2020 as a bad year , some see it as a year of opportunities, some see it as a stagnant year. It all depends on HOW we view it.

A cup of water that is half filled can also be said to be half empty. A year of problems can also be said to be a year of opportunities to solves problems and provide value.

There are just 5 months to go through to the end of the year; what's your story gonna be: positive or negative.

I don't know how you have been all this year but the fact that you survive till this moment and you are reading this is a good thing. You must learn to be positive and optimistic about life even in the midst of trials. No one is asking you to pretend but you've got to maintain an optimistic view about your life.

What you see about the month August determine what you will get in the month of August. What happens around you is not what limit you, what limit you is what happen in your mind.

I see good things about the month of August, I imagine good stuff happening to me. I visualize great things in this month. I might not necessary know how it will all happened, I certainly believe it's going to be an awesome month for me. What do you see about the month of August.

And I'm not asking you to see the past or present, rather, see into the future. See far to the 31st of August; you getting that new job, buying that new car, moving into that new house, securing that new accommodation, having that successful operation, getting the debts cleared.

Life is about to get better for you if only you can see. There is the good and bad aspect, I choose to see good and good alone, of course I am not living in denial of what is happening around me, rather I see that in spite of what's happening around me, I will blossom and prosper like a tree planted by the river side.

So my beloved folks, I encourage you to see good and good alone. Don't worry about the past, the future is bright and good.

Is your cup half filled or half empty?

May the month of August be good unto you.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Song: These Walls

You are good and do good;....  - Psalm 119:68  Few months back, I came across an inspiring song by Jason David who happens to be a pastor.  He was diagnosed with cancer. After a year-long fight with cancer that claimed much of his tongue, Pastor Jason David refuses to stop singing. "These Walls" is an original worship song he wrote that became his anthem as he fought through several surgeries, chemotherapy & radiation. For someone going through challenges; financial, health, marital, academic, whatever it may be, I pray this song will bless you - no matter what walls or mountains you may face, God is greater & God is good!  Below are the lyrics of the song: Verse: You are greater than these walls I'm circling  You are stronger than these army  I see You are bigger than these mountains that I faced And I will choose only to praise You. Pre - Chorus  This is my song, these is my dare To worship you even as thes...
