Happy New Year 2022

Happy New Year Family! 🥰

I promise myself to give attention to blogging this year, at least put up a post every week.

Officially, we are in the year 2022. To be honest, nothing seem different except the normal new year frenzy which will soon blow away and reality will set in.

I just have one prayer for you: may this year be favourable for you. The past two years has really been a tough ones. Jobs were lost, businesses crashed, there was global disruptions that affect the average middle class, the pandemic really change the world outlook. But truth be told, you still survived it. There is hope for a tree that has been cut down, that it can sprout again.

This year 2022, never say never. Personally I plan to do less and achieve more. I ain’t gonna stress myself with all the yearly resolutions here and done. I’m just gonna be me and do me. Yes, me. It might sound selfish but I’m gonna be paying more attention to myself, my mental health, my relationship, my health, my finances. It’s a year of ME for me!

Year 2021 taught me something else: whatever you want to do, do it and do it NOW! There is never a good time to start other than now. If you are looking at t he cloud before you plant, you ain’t ready.

Don’t overload yourself with unnecessarily work. I’m not asking you to be lazy, I’m simply asking you to be productive.  Not every work is productive, don’t just work hard, work smart.

Enjoy yourself,  celebrate yourself, pay yourself, don’t wait for others to celebrate you. You are first a star in your mind, if you don’t know this, you might never reach your full potentials.

Above all, cherish your godly relationships, with God and with humans. I don’t know tomorrow, obviously you don’t know tomorrow too,  but God knows tomorrow, so it makes sense to have a good relationship with He that knows tomorrow: God.

One again, do have a very prosperous and glorious year 2022. I say to you, this year will be favorable to you.

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
