MUST READ: Infidelity in Marriage..

Mr Olabode Adelabu and Mrs. Omotara Adelabu are a wonderful couple. When they got married, things were not particularly rosy. But Mrs Omotara Adelabu prayed and heard God very well before marrying Olabode Adelabu. So staying through thick and thin was not difficult. Olabode Adelabu works as a sales man for one of the leading drink making companies in Nigeria and over the years, he rose to the post of a regional sales man. However, this promotion requires that he be transferred away from Lagos where his family is .

But as tough as it may be, no Friday would pass without Olabode coming to Lagos to spend the weekend with is family.  Olabode, even as a regional sales man cannot be said to be a millionaire, but with the little he earns, He takes very good care of his family.

The house keeping allowance he send to his wife, Omotara every month, is big enough to feed the family and also for Omotara to have some change to buy shoes and clothes, when you meet Olabode and Omotara at any function The first thing Olabode would say is "meet my wife". He's so proud of her and shows her off at every slight opportunity. and they have been married for fourteen years .

Omotara Adelabu, on the other hand is a nurse, and she works with the state government. Over the years, she has risen to the post of a matron. Omotara at 41 yrs old, after 14 years of marriage and after three kids is a VERY beautiful woman, she has the right curves in the right places, and men have not stopped wooing her; Even men in their 30s
At a point in, Omotara was promoted and was transferred to another general Hospital in the nieghbourhood, Mind you, she is a theater nurse. At her new place of work, she met Dr. Danjuma. Dr. Danjuma, a surgeon is married to Marian, Marian is a primary school.
Omotara's job requires that she works closely with Dr. Danjuma and then Dr. Danjuma started noticing her. ‘Oh! beautiful Omotara’ Danjuma began saying sweet things to her............" if i were your husband, i would bring you the moon"
‘Chaichai
‘Your husband does not know how lucky he is to have you
See trouble!
‘If i were your husband,  you would have a BSc. and not just the school of nursing certificate
Later, Danjuma started taking Omotara out. He would take her to wonderful places and shower her with gifts and affection.  Not that Olabode does not take Omotara out, but he usually takes her out with the children

So at this point, Olabode began to irritate Omotara. God help Olabode if he does not send the house keeping allowance on time, heaven will let loose.
So, Omotara a one time supportive and devoted wife began to compare danjuma with olabode.
Danjuma is a "tush" man (sophisticated).                         However, Olabode is just a lively and fun loving Ibadan man. Omotara began to see that Olabode does not even match up with her
‘How did i marry this man?’, Omotara said to herself
Olabode on the other hand began to wonder what has happened to his loving  and supportive wife
At last, Omotara, an acclaimed Christian and a choir leader in her church, began to sleep with Danjuma

Hmmmmm! INFIDELITY IN MARRIAGE

I can begin to lecture us on how to be the best husbands and wives to our spouses
But NO, that’s  not for now
A lot of married people who cheat on their wives and husbands will always come up with one reason or the other. They'll justify to you, why they are cheating
But i want everyone to hear it tonight; Staying true to your wedding vows is more of a decision than the person you are married too. There are couples out there who will never cheat on their spouses
Not because their spouses are perfect but because they have made a decision and they would stick to it.

Sisters, it does not matter if you have wedding ring on your finger, some men would still come to you after you have married your boo.
It now takes a decision to say, No, i made a vow and I will stick to it
There would always be someone better, more intelligent, more tall, more beautiful etc.
But once you have taken that vow, Make a firm decision to stick to it

Brothers, a time is coming when that your beautiful chick would develop stretch marks, due to child bearing
If you do not make a decision to stay true to your vow   you might end up cheating on her
I can start lecturing sisters on how to look beautiful and sexy
But if you marry a man, who has no fear of God and has not made up his mind not to cheat
Even if you are sexier than Joselyn Dumas, He would cheat on you

Brethren, let it not be heard among us, that we are cheating . We are a holy nation, a city set on the hill that can not be hidden. Do not follow the ways of the world
Omotara got the shock of her life, when she realized that she was not the only married woman Danjuma is sleeping with.

So therefore,
Dear Future hubby, if you are reading this, Let me give you a fair hearing ;
There are days that i would have worked tirelessly to take care of the home and the kids and by the time you come back from work,  i would be smelling like bacon.
Please do not think of going out to another woman, just tell me to go and take a shower
I will gladly oblige.

In one of the Tyler Perry movies i watched, a statement that i can never forget was made                          and that is.... everything always goes on well, until somebody else comes along to show you something else and that's when you hear things like..."i'm tire", " we are drifiting apart" etc
On a final note, I would like to share with us the 80/20 rule
Now, when you get married, The best you can get out of your partner is 80%. Yes. There is no 100% person.

Sometimes in marriage, someone comes along, and shows you the 20% that your partner does not have and that 20% looks very catchy. Some people however, will now follow that 20%.
But the truth is, you've just left 80% for 20%
Go and know it, there is no perfect partner on planet earth. Marry the person that God has given you and stick to those vows

Every marriage, no matter how sweet it is , has it's own down time
So bro/sis, even in the midst of the down time. STICK TO YOUR VOWS.

Thank you all for your time

Till I come your way.

My Name is Ibukun Oduwole

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

Song Lyrics: Status is Changing

Pastor Andre Jones of the sacred Assembly, United States, wrote a song that has brought comfort to many through out the world Many artists has cover the song notably Vashawn Mitchell, Mario Ese & the Tribe of Benjamin. The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Song: These Walls

You are good and do good;....  - Psalm 119:68  Few months back, I came across an inspiring song by Jason David who happens to be a pastor.  He was diagnosed with cancer. After a year-long fight with cancer that claimed much of his tongue, Pastor Jason David refuses to stop singing. "These Walls" is an original worship song he wrote that became his anthem as he fought through several surgeries, chemotherapy & radiation. For someone going through challenges; financial, health, marital, academic, whatever it may be, I pray this song will bless you - no matter what walls or mountains you may face, God is greater & God is good!  Below are the lyrics of the song: Verse: You are greater than these walls I'm circling  You are stronger than these army  I see You are bigger than these mountains that I faced And I will choose only to praise You. Pre - Chorus  This is my song, these is my dare To worship you even as thes...
