Resist The Devil - Part 2



'Greater is He that is in me than He that is in the world' - John

Another way of surviving the tactics of the devil is to 'Resist The Devil'. Many at times, the devil comes at us like how he did against Job and unfortunately many of us start wondering 'why' like Job. Like you read yesterday, you don't need to offend the devil before he attacks you. Anytime the devil try to attack you, resist him and he will surely flee.
HOW CAN YOU RESIST THE DEVIL?
 Through  Prayer: You become defenseless when You can't pray.... imagine a two team playing football and one of them do not have a goalkeeper, the other team (with a goalkeeper) will score many goals. Prayer is your defence in life. Job was upright and just, but he was defenseless. The Devil fears a praying christian.
You can pray anywhere, anytime, anyday... when you pray in Jesus Name, you are communicating to God the Father.
The Devil is powerful but so are you when you pray.
Greater is He (Jesus) that is in you than He (devil) that is in the world. So as you read this, stand up to your feet, and resist the devil. Pray and send him packing... it is well

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science.
