15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
16 And fell down on his face at his feet, giving him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine? - Luke 17:15-17
From the above verses; Jesus healed ten lepers, only one came back to thank God. Jesus asked of the other nine lepers because He expected all of them to be come back and gives thanks.
God expects us to come back to Him with thanksgiving for the things He has done. Don't be like the remaining nine lepers that didn't come back to thank God.
2017 is coming to an end, looking back from the start of the year, God has been faithful and favorable until us. We absolutely have no reason not to thank Him.
It's only those who are thankful for the past that will receive more in the future. Ungrateful folks wouldn't receive more. Nothing should stop you from thanking God.
Show gratitude to God in the remaining hours of this year. Perhaps, there are certain things God has done for you which might be little in your eyes but you haven't thank God for them; start to thank Him for those things.
The one leper that came back to thank Jesus makes his healing whole and permanent. It simply means the other nine are at a danger of having the leprosy back if they remain ungrateful.
Be grateful!
Top of the morning to you, do have a grateful day.
