....To Love and Be Loved

Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law. - Romans 13:8

It’s a day after Valentine and I wondered aloud if those loved folks are gonna wait till next year before they received another gesture of love? Probably...

I want you to have a mental shift about love. Love is not something you showed to people once a year. God loves us every single day, if you gonna enjoy the happiness in love, you gotta love everyday every time.

One of the most important people in our lives are our loved ones; they mean a lot to us and we don’t wait till their birthdays or Val’s day before we showered them with love. Neither do we wait till they are dead and we start writing a sweet eulogy about them. The best time to show love to your loved ones is while they are alive.

Your parents, spouse, children etc deserve the best, give them the best, give them now not while they are dead or waiting till it’s one special day.

In love, everyday are special, everyday are sweet, everyday are memorable. Even in turbulent times, love would always come through. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.

Valentine day might have passed on but the time to show love have not passed on.

Even when your loved ones hurt you, rise above the hurt and respond back with much love.

The world is filled with much hatred, only love could make you sane. True love start with loving yourself. Jesus said Love God and love your neighbor as yourself. The level of love you have for yourself is what you are going to give out. Be filled with love. Get rid of hatred, it’s toxic and harmful.

In conclusion, it’s all about love, what we do, say, make. Love isn’t restricted to the fourteen of February. Nope. Love is open everyday every time.

The greatest happiness in the world is to love and be loved.

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
