Spiritual Warfare

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. - Ephesians 6:12

One of the most vital scriptures when it comes to the Christian warfare can be found in Ephesians Chapter 6.

Paul explained the type of warfare we are into. Knowing the type of fighting you are fighting is one of the requirements for victory. Many folks today fights the wrong battle, pray the wrong prayers and even apply the wrong weapon.

The battles of a believer are not carnal, they are spiritual in nature. A believer who rather than fights spiritual fights physical will always be Lose.

Our fights is against the devil and his cohorts. They are the real enemy we must faced. What the devil does is to use human agents against us and it will be very wrong if we are focused on fighting humans beings because the devil will simply find another person to use against you.

A spiritual battle require spiritual strategy. Physicality has no power when it comes to spiritual warfare. The devil is our common enemy, guns and knives doesn’t have any effect on him.

A Christian can’t fight like the unbeliever, there are weapons at the disposal of a Christian that can be use in this spiritual warfare.

When you know who your enemy is, you will not take him lightly.
When you take up God’s armor, you are ready to enter the battle.
When you fight in God’s strength, you will not be defeated.

And the good news is this: we faced a defeated foe. Although his very wicked and evil, we will always overcome because Jesus has fought and won it for us all.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Song: These Walls

You are good and do good;....  - Psalm 119:68  Few months back, I came across an inspiring song by Jason David who happens to be a pastor.  He was diagnosed with cancer. After a year-long fight with cancer that claimed much of his tongue, Pastor Jason David refuses to stop singing. "These Walls" is an original worship song he wrote that became his anthem as he fought through several surgeries, chemotherapy & radiation. For someone going through challenges; financial, health, marital, academic, whatever it may be, I pray this song will bless you - no matter what walls or mountains you may face, God is greater & God is good!  Below are the lyrics of the song: Verse: You are greater than these walls I'm circling  You are stronger than these army  I see You are bigger than these mountains that I faced And I will choose only to praise You. Pre - Chorus  This is my song, these is my dare To worship you even as thes...
