Happy New Year!!!

 Congratulations to you, you made it into the year 2020. Welcome into the new year. Be happy because year 2020 is going to be better than the past year 2019.

The year has just started and you have the opportunity now to design it the way you want it to go. Some things you planned doing but couldn't do, you have the chance to make it happen this year. There are so many lessons you would have learnt last year, apply those lessons learnt in the year 2020.

Believe it or not, sooner than you think, we would be celebrating Christmas by December 25 and then preparing for the year 2021. So whatever you planned to do, start NOW. Do not procrastinate, do not waste time, do not delay. Don't wait to start big. Start now with whatever you have or wherever you are.

Year 2020 is the start of a new decade as well, so start working even for the future. start that savings now, make that investment now not just for the short term but for the long term as well.

I'm not trying to scare you but there would be some obstacles, some challenges in the year 2020 but those challenges ain't there to scare us. Not at all, therein those challenges, difficulties, obstacles lies the opportunity you have been waiting for.

When you come across a problem this year, be intentional in solving that problem. Problems are meant to be solved and not to dodge from.

Do away with people that are not of value in your life. Some folks would have gone far in life but due to the people in their lives, they lag behind. Be purpose about the friendships, relationships you keep in the year 2020. The people in your life should add value to you as you add to them.

Be Kind to people around you. Kindness takes nothing away from you. Even when you are down, be kind to people. Help Those you can help. Never be afraid to say No. You can not help everybody but you can help someone.

Align with those and things that matter. Who and what you align yourself with will definitely have an effect (positive or negative) on you.

Be Open to constructive criticism, Don't let pride stopped you from taking correction. You do not know it all and you will make mistakes, be open to corrections, suggestions, opinions and advice. Of course you do not take ALL advice.

In everything you do, Involve God. We do not know the future but God knows everything including the future, why don't you involve Him in all you do and let Him guide & direct you. Maybe you do not believe in God, then  you need to start believing.

  You have nothing to lose in believing in God and you have everything to gain in believing in Him.

Be Yourself, Run your race, don't put yourself under pressure.

Lastly, enjoy the year 2020, even when difficulties comes, rejoice and enjoy. We shouldn't allow situations and circumstances to dictate when to be happy to us. You should choose and decide to be happy, to be joyous. Laugh spontaneously, dance anyhow and play joyfully.

This year will be a great one for you, every of your targets this year, you will surpassed them. You will have more than enough in the year 2020, This year is the start of an everlasting good news in your life and household. The year is blessed for your sake. You will enjoy this year and be fortunate in it.

 Happy New 2020 and do have a wonderful year.

Song: These Walls

You are good and do good;....  - Psalm 119:68  Few months back, I came across an inspiring song by Jason David who happens to be a pastor.  He was diagnosed with cancer. After a year-long fight with cancer that claimed much of his tongue, Pastor Jason David refuses to stop singing.
