Love: talk it, show it

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. -- John 13:34

Today is popularly called Valentine's Day, I really don't know the origin 'cuz I have read and hear many version of its origin. But one thing we agreed on is that it's a day lovers show 'love' to themselves.

It is a good thing to show love, just the way you tell it, so also show it. Love is an unconditional commitment to an imperfect person. You don't love someone because he/she is perfect, to love is to be committed.

My outlook in life is been shaped by my love for God and humanity. If you don't love, you don't have life 'cuz love is life.

The greatest happiness in this world is to love and be loved.

To experience true love, it got to start from you. Stop waiting till you have a boyfriend/girlfriend before you show love. Don't because you are married and have kids stop showing love to your spouse.
Love is not sex and sex is not love, love is not about what you gain but what you give.

Jesus summaries the whole essence of the law. Love God and your fellow humans.

Today is Val day, show love to Someone you don't know, give gifts to a random person.

Suffered or Suffering from heartbreak in your relationship/marriage? If you love yourself, you got to know it's not the end of the world, you will find love again and this time, it will last forever

It's a beautiful day. Good Morning and I want to say 'I love You'

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
