Let he that rules, do it with diligence - Romans 12:8

It is in this part of the world that Politicians see politics as a way of enriching themselves. Politics in a democratic society is all about delivering the dividends of democracy to the people. You might be rich through it, you might even be poor through it. The focus is not on What you can gain but on what you can offer. Anyone aspiring to be a Politician must understand these: Politics is a service to the people.

Politicians are leaders and leadership is about service. If you can't serve, you can't lead. The political leadership of our nation is dysfunctional because of the wrong mentality of what leadership mean.

Political leaders asking for jumbo pay when the citizens lives in penury doesn't yet know what leadership mean.

Unfortunately, this political leaders have built a faulty system of leadership whereby you come into government to take your share of the country's wealth.

Paul admonish that he that rules should do so with diligence. Though he was talking to the rulers in church, the same also apply to rulers outside the church. Leadership is hard work. If you are aspiring for a political post, have that mindset. It is not meant for you to go and plunder but to serve.

If the future political leaders knows this, we will be witnessing a fruitful and diligent leadership in our country's political arena. Politics is not a do or die affairs.

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation.
