The Importance of Prayer

And he spake a parable unto them [to this end], that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;
 - Luke 18:1

Have you ever asked yourself 'why do I pray?' What is the effects of prayer. Prayer is one of the most important things a Christian can do. It is a time they are communicating with God and it should be taken very seriously. While there is deep theological meaning in prayer, it doesn’t have to be something that is complicated and difficult. It’s something anyone can do anywhere at any time

Prayer is important for a great number of reasons:

Firstly, Prayer is a communication between you and God. It’s impossible to know someone if you don’t spend time with them. Prayer is an opportunity to spend time with God. To really understand the heart of God, you need to pray.

I see so many people worried, laden with burden and looking for whom to share it with; Prayer is an avenue to pour out you heart to God. Communication via prayer is not one sided rather it's both ways, You speak to God and God speaks to you.

If you want to develop a great relationship with God, then prayer is a must. Prayer helps draw us closet to God. Imagine you talking to your earthly Father, how sweet it is, same way also with Prayer.

Prayer is key to developing a great relationship with God. A prayer less Christian is a powerless Christian because he/she is disconnected from the heavenly server.

Perhaps, so many things going on around you and you just seem scared o worried or lonely, maybe you need someone to talk to, Prayer gives you direct access, it's simple to pray. Talking to your Father shouldn't be difficult...

Talking with God develops a deeper relationship with Him. The deeper the relationship becomes, the more time you want to spend with Him.

This week, I pray for you that everything will work out for your good.

Good Morning and have a blessed week.. 😇

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
