God Needs You Rich!!!

Solomon was wealthy. Joseph was wealthy. David was wealthy. Even Job was wealthy. We need to Unlearn this misconception we have about being Godcentric vs wanting money - that it's one or the other. Eg. "If I dedicate my life to doing God's work, it means I must be comfortable knowing that I won't be as wealthy as I could be if I did other things." Or..."I'm not wealthy because I've decided to do things the right way". .

Wanting money does not mean you are selfish, or greedy. Many people have mis-interpreted the bible verse ”For the love of money is a root to all kinds of evil” (1 Timothy 6-10), to mean that money is evil. This verse talking about our attitude towards money. There’s also the verse from Luke 18:23-25 that say, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God. Indeed it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God”. In this verse, Jesus is simply stating that no one should think they can get to heaven by their wealth. Money is about flexibility - it affords you the choice of what you can do. .

The Bible says two very important things about money. It warns us about the danger when money becomes the most important thing in our lives. ie. allowing greed to take over, and bending rules as we pursue the money. The second thing the Bible says about money is that it can be good, and is a gift from God when we use it to help others and support His work. If your quest for money is to allow you honor God, not be a burden to others, and to share with those in need, then there is absolutely nothing wrong with you wanting a lot of money. The important thing is to do it in an ethical manner where you are providing value to the world. .

God needs you rich!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He knows what you'll do with money. He knows what you'll do with the network. He knows. Don't think for a second that serving God = being comfortable not having funds. .

We getting that Mulaaaaaaaaaaa!!!! Ya hurrrrddddd!!!!!!

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
