Letter to My Daughter 2

Letter To My Daughter 2

Hullo Sweetheart,

I’m sure by now, this second letter won’t surprise you as I promised to write you often. I hope you didn’t forget my advice in the first letter: Don’t live your life outside God.

This time around, I would be admonishing you on the need for you to be trustworthy and honest. Your integrity matters. As I write this letter, honesty is in short supply in the world. Honesty is fast declining in the world. Folks now believe to be dishonest pays. Ladies now live on dishonesty just to gain quick. Do not be like them. Be honest in all your dealings. Let your yes be yes, your no be no. Even when it’s tough, be honest and open. Be known for transparency.

If you rise to the top in dishonesty, you will surely fall down flat. No one stay high for long in dishonesty. I will tell you a little story in the Bible about a man call Gehazi: He was a servant to his master Elisha. But one day He went after his master’s guest to collect gifts that his master Elisha had rejected earlier. He lied and collected the gift back from the guest. Guess what? He ended up by having leprosy. There is never a good ending for dishonest folks who go about scheming unsuspecting people.

So that is my second advise: Be honest, be trustworthy, be truthful and be open. It will greatly help you now and in the future.

Expect another letter soon. You are really daddy favourite and mummy is still jealous  about how playful we have become. Lol

I have no doubt that your tommorow is bright and great. Keep shinning, keep making us proud.

Daddy loves you. ❤️

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
