Ask For Help

When Jesus had entered Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking for help.
- Matthew 8:5

Many people hate to ask others for help. They have that I can do it on my own mentality. When something is broken in the home, wives say call someone to fix it. Men say, why when I can do it myself even though he doesn’t know how to. In the workplace some people have a ton of work to do, but they refuse to ask their co-workers for help.

Be strong enough to stand on your own, Smart enough to know when you need help and Brave enough to ask for it.

In life, we all need one another at one point or the other. Don't be proud not to ask for help.
Our ego and pride shouldn't get in the way of getting help. Life is not designed for you to go through it alone.

We are to Help One Another
Sometimes it’s because we don’t want to feel like a burden, sometimes we don’t want to be turned down, sometimes we just want to control everything, some people hate anything that feels like a hand out.
The truth is you can't know or have everything. There is something you need that someone else have or know. There is something you have or know that someone else need. No man knows or have it all. We are to help one another.

There is nothing wrong with seeking help in fact Scriptures encourages it. We must ask God for help daily because we won’t get far in life trying to live off of our own strength.

It's another year, another month, another week and another day, This year shall be a year of good surprises for you. Remember don't forget to ask for help when needed.

Good Day Beloved and do have a great week!

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
