Growing In Your Relauonship with Jesus

Therefore let us leave the elementary doctrine of Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God
  - Hebrew 6:1

It's one thing to invite Jesus into your life, it's another thing to submit to His Lordship  and be in relationship with Him forever.

Most times, you have asked Jesus to come into your Life but truthfully, the awesome difference has kinda died and it seems you are back to your old self after your 'salvation' experience.

So you asked, 'how do I ensure I continually grow in my Salvation experience'? When you plant a seed, do you just abandon it like that? Won't you watered it, watch over it and in some, you apply your fertilizer? So also in your relationship with Jesus, you must understand you have to continually water that relationship. How? You may asked.

• By studying His Word - when you read the Bible, you get to know the mind of God concerning you and your future. The scriptures carry the picture of your future. The Bible is an everlasting truth that is writer for you to get closer to Jesus. Read of His promises, warning, assurance to you and many more. Read about the models of faith in the Bible.

• Prayer - prayer is the network connectivity that gives you direct and
unbreakable access to God. It's like a TuRaya phone, there is always network anywhere, anytime, just Pray and speak to Him. Prayer deepen your relationship with God. Imagine you speaking to somebody everyday, as time goes by, you become so much attracted and attached to that person you do call everyday.

You have Jesus in your life, fine but the level you were years back when you were saved is still where you are now. It shouldn't be so. Just the way new born babies grow to become an adult, so also you are to grow spiritually from babe to adult.

It's my prayer that as you made up  your mind to grow spiritually, you will not fall from that height of grace in Jesus Name.

Thank God it's friday, Good Morning and a happy day to you!

Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
