Love Is What We Do!

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth. - 1 John 3:18

One of the many truths Apostle John has written is that fact that True Love, (scratch that, nothing like True Love, it's either Love or not) love is not by mouth but by deeds.

You can't say you love someone, yet you don't care about their wellbeing. One of the major problem of the world is that there is a wrong concept  of Love. Some folks wouldn't love unless there is something in for them, some would stop loving if the person changes towards them. One of the ways to know who love you is by what they do to you.

Jesus show how much He loves us by laying down His life for us. If you love someone, to what length or mile can you go for that person? Love is more than mere words, Love is what you do. You laugh with each other, you smile but deep down, someone is hurting and yet you don't care because there is no Love.

You care for those you love, you stand by those you love, you pray those you love. You don't love because the other person love you, you don't stop loving because the other stopped. Love is God and God is love. If you don't love, you are simply ungodly.

If you love your country, you wouldn't do things that hurt the country. If you love your boss, you wouldn't back bite him/her at the back. If you love your family, you will go extra miles all just for them. Love is not selfish, greedy or self-centre. Love is gentle, caring, honest, loyal. Love is godly.

This post is a call for you to Love. Love God, Love those around you, Love yourself, Love your country, Love and love and love. Never stop loving. Not just by saying it but by doing. 

Love is what we do!

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good.
