The Best Thing

The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot. - Psalm 26:5

The best thing that could happen to anyone is Jesus. An encounter with Jesus should be what you desire. Peter had an encounter with Jesus and He found purpose in life (Matthew 4:18-20). Paul had an encounter with Jesus and His focus was redirected to the true path (Acts 19:1-9). Blind Bartimaeus had an encounter with Jesus and he got his healing (Mark 10:46-52).
Many people who had an encounter with Jesus all had good things to say.

Jesus came to this world years back to die for your sins so that you might have life and have it abundantly. 
Don't be deceived, anything outside Jesus may look good but it's not the best. Nothing is better than Jesus.

Jesus is the best thing that could ever happen to you. Stop living your life anyhow and start living it with Jesus in you.

Your satisfaction and fulfillment begins when you have Jesus. Nothing in the world could satisfy you, only Jesus is the cup that won't run dry. Jesus is our everything. The reason for our existence.

If you don't have Jesus in your life or you are not sure. This is a big opportunity for you to invite Him into your life.

It's a blessed Monday morning, the first day of the rest your life, start living it for Jesus.

My Prayer for you is that daily as you live and Often as you breathe, your whole life will be an expression of Jesus Grace.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus.
