Praising God Should Be Your Lifestyle

And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
- Acts 16:25

Yesterday during praises in church, God dropped this revelation in my heart. It's about Paul and Silas (Acts 16:16-40). Most time, we believe Paul and Silas praised God in prison because they were in prison and wants to get out. But that isn't so.,If they wanted to get out, they would have escaped when the prison gates were miraculously opened. But they didn't. So you ask, why did they praise God?

We shouldn't praise God just because we want Him to give us something or deliver us. Sure God is more than able. But we must learn to praise God for Who He is; that is one major reason why we were created. To praise and worship the Most High. Praising God should be a lifestyle to us and not just something we do when we want to thank God for something or want His Help.

A lovely thing about Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego is the fact that they were ready to follow God even if He didn't deliver them from the furnace (Daniel 3). Most times, when we praise God because we need something, we get discouraged when that thing doesn't come forth and we stop or reduce praising Him.

Paul and Silas Praised God because that is what they want to do. Praising God anywhere, anytime. Circumstances, conditions or problems shouldn't stop us from praising God. Yes God can give you that thing you want, Yea He can save you. But you don't just praise Him for that because He has already given you, delivered you and set you on High. Start praising God first for Who He is.

God deserves your praise every time and everywhere, sick or healthy, dying or living, hungry or fed, tired or strong.

It's a beautiful week. Doors are opening for you. Lines are falling in pleasant places for you. You are going higher and forward. God will bless you much more than you dream of. Just Cultivate the habit of Praising Him Anytime and Anywhere.

Praise The Lord!

Good Morning and have a great week.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...
