Sometimes we ask for a good thing but with a wrong motive. God wants to bless us real good but our heart is just not right. Many believers have a wrong motive when praying for certain things.  Imagine a believer who ask for car simply because he wants to oppress his neighbours. The car is a good thing but the motive behind the car is not good. We pray certain prayers and we ask why God doesn't answer. One of the causes of unanswered prayers is Wrong Motives. So when you pray, check the motive behind that prayer.  Our service to God has to be motivated by a proper motive. You may have poor motives and good service and have the ability to fool those who are around you. It is not news or new that we serve a prayer answering God. What surprises us is the fact despite we serving a prayer answering God, there are still many prayers that seems left unanswered. Truth is the problem is never from God: He always answer. The problem is from believers themselves.  Sometimes, we are not ready to receive the answer to our prayer. We do not yet have the capacity to receive it. God would not give us something that will crush us. There are certain believers that if God should give them a little change, they will eventually drift away from God. Any prayer that is going to affect your salvation will not be answered by God. Paul wrote to the Ephesians: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us - Ephesians 3:20 When we do not have the capacity to receive the answer for our prayers, they will remain unanswered. God doesn't give you what will destroy you. The...

God takes no delight in not answering our prayers. At times, He had answered but evil forces, dark pricipalities are preventing the manifestation of the prayers. Daniel had the same encounter in Daniel Chapter 10: But the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me one and twenty days: but, lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there with the kings of Persia. - Daniel 10:13 He prayed and his prayers was delayed until Michael came to his rescue. There are some satanic forces that works against prayers been answered. Many prayers and blessings have been held up by demonic powers. Of course God is all powerful but truth is since the fall of man, devil has been running the world's show. So if you are not prayerfully sensitive, the devil will rob you of your blessings. For some time, I have been believing God for certain things, it seem its not coming forth, but I encourage myself,  I believe that I will receive all I asked for. Truth is sometimes, it can be so frustrating when certain prayers are not answered soon enough and it feel as if God is far away. Yet we are told to about vain repetition.  Many folks can't but ask: what exactly are the causes of unanswered prayers: UNRIGHTEOUSNESS Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. - James 5:6 The prayer of an unrighteous person can't be answered. James clearly stated that. Peter instead started to argue with Jesus that anywhere He goes, he will follow, even into the prison. Peter believes he is firm enough to stay with Jesus. Jesus replied him that he will denied Him thrice. And that was what happened.  Believers these days tend to think certain things can not happen to them because they have come too far in the Lord. Good Morning to you and welcome to the month of September. This month will be favorable to you in Jesus Name. In John chapter 3, Nicodemus went to meet Jesus in the night and ask Him for what to do. He has seen Jesus do great things and He believes He is the prophecied Messiah. He ask Jesus for Direction on what to do to enjoy the Kingdom benefits.  In this month of September, don't just do things on your own, ask the Lord on what to do.
