Causes of Unanswered Prayers - Part 2

As believers, we must realize that there is a right way and wrong way of praying. Many a time, folks have prayed amiss. James talked about this in James chapter 4 verse 3: Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

A person is said to pray amiss when the prayers is outside God 's will. Any prayer request outside God's will not get God's attention on it. When Jesus was nearing His crucifixion, He prayed that the cup be passed over Him but He added that not His will but God's will be done.

Praying amiss is like fetching water with basket, it will not hold. Ensure that your prayers are in line with the will of God. The Will of God is His Purpose. When you discover God's purpose for you, you naturally prayed in line with His will.

Many believers today are praying fervently but their prayers are out of the line. They haven't take time to know if their prayers are according to the Will of God or not.

This is my prayer for you: You will not pray amiss. Your prayers shall not be in vain. The purpose and will of God shall be revealed to you as you pray.

The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation.
