Causes of Unanswered Prayers

For some time, I have been believing God for certain things, it seem its not coming forth, but I encourage myself,  I believe that I will receive all I asked for. Truth is sometimes, it can be so frustrating when certain prayers are not answered soon enough and it feel as if God is far away. Yet we are told to about vain repetition.

Many folks can't but ask: what exactly are the causes of unanswered prayers:

UNRIGHTEOUSNESS
Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. - James 5:6
The prayer of an unrighteous person can't be answered. James clearly stated that. Righteous simply means right standing with God. When you are not in right standing with God, your prayers doesn't get answered because it never get to God in the first place. The seven sons of sceva couldn't do what the early apostles did simple because they were not of God.

You can't be dinning with the devil and expect God to give you an audience. It doesn't works that way. Many a people pray to God for solutions yet they go outside God to look for solutions. It doesn't work. If you want your prayers to be answered, be righteous.

Unanswered prayers do arises as a result of our unfaithfulness and unrighteousness.  The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.
It's a new week, a new day, choose to be in the right standing with God and see your prayers produced results.

Your day and week is blessed. Good morning and do have a great week.

Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
