Go The Extra Mile

And he (Zacchaeus) ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see Him (Jesus): for he (Jesus) was to pass that way. - Luke 19:4

The above verse is about a short rich top management government worker who had a goal, a purpose, a target; which is to meet with Jesus (the unchangeable Changer).

This rich man has a goal but he also had a challenge, his stature was an obstacle to him achieving his goal. The obstacle didn't deter him. He find a way by climbing on top a tree. A rich man climbs a tree!!! You hardly gonna find that these days.

How far are you willing to go to achieve your goal? Will you go the extra mile to fulfill your destiny. Obstacles will surely be on the road. Challenges will be there. Problems will be waiting for you. Will you give up or will you face it and conquer it by going the extra mile. The season you are in now is not a season to complain. Be willingly to stretch yourself.

Opportunities are missed because folks refuse to go out of their comfort zone. There maybe few opportunities in your comfort zones but there are more in that challenging zone.

The year 2016 is coming to an end. Have you achieve your target for the year? If not, you got to go the extra mile. Today is Friday. Everyday is a day of opportunity including today.

 Don't be afraid to suffer yourself for an extra mile. That rich government worker did it and guess what, he surpass his goal, target beyond his expectation.

Mediocrity is birthed when you are contented with how far you've gone and not willingly to go the extra mile.

 Today is a good day. You will not miss your opportunity.

 Every negative cycle of missed opportunities is broken over your life in Jesus Name. (AMEN).

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good.
