Enjoy Yourself

And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God.
 - Ecclesiastes 3:13

Enjoyment is godly; Enjoyment is 
Good; Enjoyment is a gift from a God.

Many folks have suffered due to lack of biblical understanding. There is nothing wrong with enjoying yourself.  Wear the best clothes, buy the best things, travel on your vacation, give yourself a treat and many more.

Life is too short not to enjoy yourself. You have worked, hence you have earned a right to enjoy.

Too many people take life too serious, yes, you must be serious about life but not too serious that you deprive yourself of your earned enjoyment.

You have worked and worked, enjoy to unwind yourself. Life is too short to be bored. Go and watch some films in the cinema, go out with your friends, go on a date, go for a hiking trip, or go attend some dance class. Just do something that you enjoy. Have fun, take a day off work and have fun.

You are too blessed to be depressed. All work and no play will make you a dull person. Go get an Xbox if you are a game freak. 

Yes you are hardworking but that doesn't stop you from enjoying yourself. Don't let your life be only about work work work. If you have enough savings, travel travel travel, see new things, visit tourist attraction sites, go attend musical and comedy concerts.

Don't give boredom a chance to set in in your life. If you just want a quiet time to relax and unwind, you can have it. To enjoy doesn't mean you are self centered, it means you also care about yourself which is the right thing to do. 

It's another Wednesday, it is the gift of God for you to enjoy the fruits of your labour.

I pray may you not labour in vain.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus.
