Praying Right

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.” - 1 John 5:14

I believe everyone pray in one way or the other. But one of the reasons we don't get answer is we don't pray right. It's one thing to pray and it's another thing to pray right. To pray right means to pray according to God's Will. Anyone praying outside His will is not praying right

Someone praying to become a millionaire overnight might not receive answer to his/her prayer because it might not be according to God's will.

So, how then do one pray right? I will state two ways to pray right.

Firstly, Pray in the Spirit through Holy Ghost tongues. 1 Corinthians 14:2 says For anyone who speaks in a tonguedoes not speak to people but to God. Indeed, no one understands them; they utter mysteries by the Spirit. 
Praying in the Spirit is one way to pray right especially when praying in your quiet times. The Spirit helps us to pray when speaking in Tongues.

The second effective way to pray is by the Word of God. God Word is God. Believers must know how to pray according to the Word of God. Hold God by His promises in the Bible. But to pray God's word for your life means you have to read and know the word. 
Someone praying for healing can key into the verse that says 'By His Stripes, you are healed' and hold God to that word by repeatedly confessing that healing over you. You can only Pray the Word when you Know the Word. One of the ways to u Know the Word is by Reading the Bible.

Today is going to be a wonderful day for you, remember the fervent prayer of the righteous is effective.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science.
