Godly and Riches

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
   - Matthew 6:33

I need to re-emphasis that the views/opinions the post about Ponzi Scheme are my own personal views.

Some folks questioned me 'f it's wrong to take advantage of opportunities to be rich'. And I say to them if the opportunities are genuine and legal, why not?

It's not God's wish for anyone to be poor. God is not glorified in you been poor. God want us to prosper financially. But the first thing God want to do for us is not about money.
It's about our soul. Seek ur first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. Seeking after money first before that is a dangerous misplaced of priorities. Money is good. Even the kingdom of God needs money to expand on earth. Nevertheless, money is not the primary thing.

We need to understand some principles about riches, some  of which include:

Riches doesn't solve every problems.

It's only godly riches that you can enjoy and has no sorrow.

You profit nothing if you are super rich but loses your soul.

Everything in life is not about money.

Poverty is not of God. God wants us to be comfortable as well.

You can be super rich and make heaven.

You can be super poor and miss heaven.

Im conclusion, don't be so heavenly minded that you are earthly poor and don't be earthly minded that you are heavenly poor. You can be godly and rich but the godly comes before the rich.

It's a start of a new week, I pray that you will come across opportunities this week that catapulted you into godly and riches.

Good Morning and Have a wonderful week!

The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
