Do Your Part

What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?     - Roman 6:1

In Yesterday post, I talked about involving Jesus before you start anything just as He was invited him to a wedding which in turn led to Him performing a miracle.

In today's post, I would like to state some warning. Because you have Pray and call in Jesus doesn't give you the right to neglect your own duties. We have so many christians today who are irresponsible by leaving everything to God.

Because you have invited Jesus to your business doesn't mean you shouldn't strategize on how to make profit. Because Jesus is involved doesn't mean you shouldn't read before writing an examination. Because you told Jesus about your joblessness doesn't mean you shouldn't have a well tailored professional resume. Because Jesus is Grace doesn't mean you should performed illicit sex.

We have take so many things for granted all in the name of Grace. If you read the story of the wedding in Cana, the groom actually prepared wine down but they run out of wine. That is different for someone who didn't prepared wine down and was expecting Jesus to perform a miracle.

You having Jesus is not a license to be lazy or irresponsible. So many pray warriors will fail in certain areas because they have substituted hard work for prayer. We have and enjoyed grace so that we can even do more. Grace is for us to expand And enlarge.

God is a God of principles. Some of His principles has nothing to do with you praying or not. So when you invite Jesus into your life, don't just be laid back about it, be active and see Jesus performing that miracle.

Thank God today is Friday. It is always a good day for those that have Jesus. Do you have Jesus?

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science.
