Prophecy

Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.    - Ezekiel 37:4

Yesterday, a friend of mine introduced me to a lady as a prophet (which I also said I am lol). The lady requested for a prophecy from me which I did but she was requesting for a more detailed, specific prediction from me. That is common among folks, they understand prophecy only to be a form of fore-telling or predicting the future. Prophecy is more than just foretelling

Prophecy means to “speak forth” or declare the divine will, to interpret the purposes of God, or to make known in any way the truth of God which is designed to influence people. Many people misunderstand the gift of prophecy to be the ability to predict the future. While knowing something about the future may sometimes have been an aspect of the gift of prophecy, it was primarily a gift of proclamation (“forth-telling”), not prediction (“fore-telling”).

To prophesy is to confess the future in the present. So many people have been duped, manipulated, even put into bigger problems because of their limited or lack of understanding about prophecy.

Every child of God is a prophet. The word of God contains everything about your future. The scriptures carry the picture of your future. So prophesy those things into your future. God told Ezekiel to speak forth into the dry bones. It's your duty and not of your pastor to speak love into your dead areas of your life.

A believer/pastor/preacher who declares the Bible can be considered a “prophesier” in that he/she is speaking forth the counsel of God.

I shall continue on this tomorrow.

As a prophet of God, I decree and declare in the name of Jesus, as the Lord lives, your problems shall all end in praise. Where you have been rejected, you will be accepted. Your fragile health received divine strength. You will not die prematurely.  This is the Word of the Lord for you.

Good Morning and do have a blessed day!

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
