Love! Love!! Love!!! Part 3

For God so love the world that He gave His only begotten Son (Jesus) that whosoever believes in Him (Jesus) should not perish but have everlasting life.  - John 3:16

I continue on the exposition on John 3:16 but on another dimension; GIVING. One of the benefits of God's Love is His Giving which is Jesus

Few people really understand this: Giving shouldn't be by force. Giving is bore out of love. When you love someone or something, you will give to that person or thing.

I see some many preachers sweating to get their audience to give. When you are in love with a cause, it would be easy for you to give to that cause. One of the signs of Love is Giving. If you claim to love your wife/husband/children/friends, you will easily give to them. When you love your neighbor, when He is hungry, you will easily give to him/her from your abundance.

When you are in love, you can't be selfish or stingy. God gave because He loved. Giving your resources, time, money etc will be based on the love you have in your heart.

The world is a loveless world; of recent I read in the news about some politicians and government officials that hid a lot of money (billions of dollars equivalent) and yet there are many citizens suffering, struggling to make ends meet. You wonder why? It is because the Love of God doesn't reside in them. So many of them before getting into the post promise so many things during campaign. But when the love of the Father is not in you, the devil will always have his way in manipulating you.

We give easily when we are in love.

I will continue this post tomorrow.

Today is Sunday, a lovely day. Good Morning and a have a fantastic day!🙏

Song Lyrics: Status is Changing

Pastor Andre Jones of the sacred Assembly, United States, wrote a song that has brought comfort to many through out the world Many artists has cover the song notably Vashawn Mitchell, Mario Ese & the Tribe of Benjamin. The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
