Delay Is Not Denial - Part 4

Be careful now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a house for the sanctuary; be strong and do it.” 
- 1 Chronicles 38:20

Some delays are neither caused by God nor the forces of evil. Another cause of the delay in our life is 'SELF'. We unknowingly caused some delays ourselves. When we fail to prepare in life, we are setting ourselves up for delay. When we fail to do what we are expected to do at the right earlier time, delay is inevitable. Whe we don't invest in ourselves, prolong delay can occur.

Imagine a student that didn't read for his / her promotional exams, he / she will fail and would be delayed and stopped from going to the next class. Micah, David's wife (and Saul's daughter) child bearing was delayed/stopped simply because of the way she spoke about Kind David dancing and rejoicing. (2 Samuel 6:23)

It's not every delay that is always caused by the devil. Some folks had live a very wayward life while younger and when they are older, they are having some marital delays among other issue. We can't eat our cake and have it. Some ladies have done numerous abortions before and now they truly seek for a child but their womb is weakened by the series of abortions they have done thereby delaying their conception.

The past of some folks is what is affecting them now. There is always a consequence for every action we do now. Now obviously, when you create the delay, Satan is behind it, but let's not blame him for everything. In most cases, we need to re-evaluate our lives to see what we've done to create a delay. 

This is my prayer for you: every delay in your life will come to an end today in Jesus Name.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate.
