Help From Above

My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. Psalm 121:2

At certain points in our lives, we all need help. But the type of help we would get depend on Who is helping us. To be clear, not everyone takes help from the Lord, some would rather visit the herbalist, some visit the sorcerer, some even witches and wizards for help. 

So why seek help from God? Help from God brings lasting Joy. David the Psalmist knew better that only God can help completely. True Help doesn't come from abroad, neither does it comes from the south not north, it comes from the Lord above.

So many people are either not born again, or they do not have a healthy relationship with God. As a result, they are ignorant of the help that can be received from God at the same time ignorant of the consequences of receiving such help outside the will of God.

Many problems last long despite prayer because of help received from the devil in the past. A lot of people entered into a covenant either consciously or unconsciously by seeking help from satanic prophets. 

Only God can help you like no other. He helps without adding any sorrow to it unlike the devil, his help is always full of calamity.

Do you need help in certain areas of your life? Cry out to God and ask for His help, He is ever ready and available to help you. 

God and God alone is your true helper.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science.
