Don't Look Down on People

And she said unto her mistress, Would God my lord were with the prophet that is in Samaria! for he would recover him of his leprosy. - 2Kings 5:3

One of interesting stories in the Bible is about a powerful leper named Batman and ho he was healed of his leprosy through the help of a maid who connected him to Prophet Elisa.

What makes the story interesting is the fact that Naaman was a high-ranking military officer but he didn't allow his position or ego to make him ignore and wave away the suggestion of the maid. The maid happens to be a captive from Israel.

So many times, we have ignore the best advise from certain people simply because we looked down on them or we believe they have nothing to offer. God uses the unlikely people to get through to us.

We should not look down on Anybody. No one should be trodden upon. We are equal in the eyes of God. He (God) can use anybody as He deemed fit. Miracles have been missed simply because we looked down on the vessel God uses for us.

Naaman wouldn't know Elisha without the help of the maid. We are to help one another, therefore God won't come down to help you, rather He will uses people to help you. People He uses might be of high class or low class, wealthy or poor, male or female.

There is no one God can't use to bless you. Stop looking down on people.
