Trust: What God Wants From You

Trust in the Lord with all your heart....
 -  Psalms 3:5

In our walk with God, one major thing we got to be doing always is Trusting in God. If you don't trust God well enough, then you shouldn't expect Him to favour you. Without Faith, no one can please God and faith is all about trusting.

You have faith because you can trust in God. Moses and the Israelites reached the red sea and all hope seems lost, the Egyptians armies were at their back and the red sea was in their front. Moses told his people that the Egyptians that they see now, they would see them no more. It takes trust to believe what Moses said.

Likewise, when we are in impossible situation, when the Word of God comes to us, trust in God that He is more than able to do all what He says He will do.

God is the Almighty, there is nothing too hard for Him. The devil always try to make you believe that your problems are so great that It might not be solvable. Don't believe the devil, all he wants to give you are lies and hopelessness.

All possibilities lies only with God. You might be hurting, fearful, downcasted, defeated, you do not need to give up. God placed high value on broken things. He is not like men who placed no worth on broken things such as broken plates, mirrors, furniture, and are treated as trash or things meant for the dung hill. Some things in the life of the broken appeals to God and He gives them honour and grant their request – Jam.4:6.

This is not the end of your story. There is still more from you. Your end will be greater than your beginning. Your success stories are yet to come. Believe and Trust in God to accomplish what He is set to do in your life.

Its a blessed day for you, do enjoy it...😉

Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
