If Men Were God

He sends rain on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44

It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side.

One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before.

One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you are called to do good to such. Discrimination has no place in the Kingdom of God. The love of God is for everybody. Because you are saved today doesn't necessarily makes you different from the unsaved because he/she too might be saved. This gospel is fro everybody.

This morning, I want us to have a mindset change. We don't just favor our own class that we know are nice, we don't just help those that are good to us. We don't just give jobs to somebody because he/she is from your tribe, ethnicity or whatever. Your help should not be subjective to all this. God is always doing good to everybody, both good and bad. We should love indiscriminately, we should give indiscriminately, we should do good indiscriminately.

It is a blessed morning, I pray for you that as the rains are falling abundantly this season, so shall your blessings fall abundantly in due season; You are blessed beyond measured in Jesus Name.

Good Morning and a happy Sunday to you.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...
