Limiting The Unlimited God

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us
  - Ephesians 3:20

The popular verse that says God is able to exceeding abundantly what we ask of Him to do beyond our imagination. But the verse don't just stop there, it conclude with this, according to the power that works in us.
Here is what the first part told us, God is unlimited, God works beyond our way. Our human brain can't even comprehend the ways of God. He is always full of surprises and like Nathaniel Bassey will say 'Just Like That'. But the second part told us something equally important. If anything is going to limit God, it will be you and I. God is limited by you. How? You may ask, because the level of power you have in you determine the extent at which God is going to work in you. Let me put it this way:

You have a big fridge, electric appliances and other gadgets in the house and you have a small generator to power them, you found out that when you put on this generator, it doesn't carry the load. So you got a bigger generator and it carries the load comfortably.  That is exactly our it is, you don't expect a small 1KV generator to carry a load of 2kV. God is a God of unlimited load but He can't do much when your faith is a limited faith.

So the next time you read that verse, know and know this well enough, God is ever able but could be limited by your faith. God is a big God but you could make Him a small God in your Life.
The power you carry is what determines the extent at which God is going to do what He will do. God can provide for you but you don't believe He will, so don't expect Him to 'cuz your power which is your faith can't carry it.

The God inside that great men is God is what is inside you too. The God inside that man that heals the sick is the One inside you, so why can't you do what the great men of God does? It's simple, because of the power that works in you. Don't expect God to do more than the power that works in you. Just like expecting the 1KV generator to carry a 2KV load. What happens? The generator will crash and you could even spoil some equipment if care is not taken. Gehazi couldn't raise the dead but Elijah could. It was because of the power in them.

It's a wonderful day, our Unlimited God is limited by the power in us.

Good Morning and do have a wonderful Thursday

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
