Letter To My Daughter

Hullo Sweetie,

I'm sure you woud have grow wiser as you read this letter . This is my first letter to you. I and your mum was so happy and overjoyed when you were born.

We couldn't wait for you to be born and here you are my beautiful daughter. Let me tell you a small secret, do you know your mum do fights me for loving you more than her (jealous abi?); even though that ain't entirely true. 😂😁😀

In this my first letter, I want to let you know certain things. We gave birth to you, we love you very well but you must understand that all this have been made possible because there is a loving God Who is also a family God. He loves Family so much and He was the One that encourages us to bring you into this world. He is our creator. We all (including you) came from Him.

The world you are in now is so full of some nonsensical stuff and wrong things that pollute the mind. They tell you things like there is no God, you evolve, among many other rubbish. Daughter, be careful of them.

Anyone that tries to tell you to live your life off God is not and should not be your friend. Do you know that there are great benefits in knowing God. The Devil (who is our chief enemy) doesn't want you to enjoy that benefits. When you know your Lord your God, you will do exploits.

I will be writing series of letter to you. You are still barely two months at the time of writing this letter. It will be an open letter for every daughter of your age to read. As you grow older, you will be reading more of my letters. Don't be scared, Dad ain't going anywhere, but this letters are series of things I want you and every other child of your age to know. If there is anything to be known first, Know Your God.

I love you, Mummy Love you, Grandpa, Grandma, Aunty, Uncle, your cousins love you, more importantly, Jesus Loves you. 😍
My Prayer for you is this: Everything about you will always glorify God. Your Life shall be what God wants it to be, a shinning Light that shines brighter and brighter until the perfect day.

Do have a nice time and enjoy yourself.😊

With Love,
Dad

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

The lyrics for the song goes thus: "We're connected to this world through our senses By what's tangible and easy to comprehend  There are days when it seems We're going nowhere fast Trust your faith to show you the truth Give a listen to what faith says to you:  "Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days. Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
