Don’t Lose Yourself

I will praise You; for I’m fearfully and wonderfully made; - Psalm 139:14

It is so easy to lose yourself while growing up, many people do, they end up becoming someone else and living a false life.

I want you to smile at yourself because you're beautiful, and let no opinion tell you any different. The thing I learned about life is most people are going to see your flaws and not your beauty. You're going to be imperfect to most, but you'll always be perfect for the heart that God has for you.

You got to understand that there's going to be somebody somewhere at sometime that's going to find something wrong with you; but the something wrong they find is nothing but the something right to the heart that's searching for you.

You might be too big or too small in their eyes, but you're the perfect size for the heart that's meant to love you.

You might be too outgoing or too shy in their eyes, but you got the perfect personality for the heart that's meant to love you.

You might be too white, too black, too brown in their eyes, but you're the perfect color for the heart that's meant to love you.

The first step to being unhappy in life is trying to please everybody else. People are different and have different taste, but never let those differences make you insecure of who you are.

I want you to stop spending so much time in the mirror critiquing yourself, and start spending the rest of your days loving and appreciating yourself. You're beautiful because God said so, and that's ALL the confirmation you need.

Remember, there will always be something about you that's not right, to a person who's not right for you. Your flaws are perfect for the heart that's meant to love you. Find someone who accepts you for you. Stay beautiful and keep practicing that smile. You're perfect.

Love is an unconditional commitment to an imperfect person. Loves sees perfection even in imperfection. If they are sleeping your imperfections, then they might not be the right person

Remember you are fearfully made, wonderfully created by the Awesome God. Everything God creates are beautiful and good.

Shalom!

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
