Destiny

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. - Genesis 1:28

Someone once ask me, can destiny be change? Some school of thoughts believe destiny can't be altered. Some believe believe it could be.

Whatever you believe, I for one believe in the Word of God in Jeremiah 29:11 that says 'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.'
In that verse, verse, can deduce that God has a good plan for you. He created you with a good destiny, Infact the best for you. The devil has try to get people misinformed that their present situation, their current phase in life is their destiny. You are stuck with financial issues and you believe you are destined not to be rich. That is far from the truth.

If your destiny is full of negativity, I have a good news, it can be changed. Enough of believing that lies that you are destined for an average. My advice: don't settled for a second best.

Job suffered for a whole year because he though he was destined to suffer, he was ignorant of the devices of the enemy. But God eventually change his destiny for the best.

Jabez was born into a life of sorrow but he refuse to settled for it an his destiny was changed for the better.
Hezekiah was destine to died but his destiny of death was changed to destiny of life. I could go on and on with examples.

Lastly, after the fall of man, man was destined to b condemned and died but Jesus came and change our destiny from death to life, from poverty to prosperity, from fear to boldness, from sickness to sound health, from down to up.

Destiny can be change for the better.

HOW CAN DESTINY BE CHANGED FROM NEGATIVE TO POSITIVE:

1. Salvation: Give your Life to God. Like the song lyrics rightly say; 'surrender all to God withholding nothing'. If you re not saved, your destiny is not safe. Zacheus accepted Jesus into his life (Luke 19:1-10) and his destiny was changed for the better.

2. Prayers: Jabez prayed and his destiny of sorrows was changed (1 Chron. 4:9-10)
Prayers changes things. One of the powerful tool we have is Prayers. The success of your destiny is to a large extent dependent on your prayer life. Hezekiah Prayed and his destiny of death was changed to life

In conclusion, Destiny is meant to be a place of joy, fulfillment, a life of peace. If you ain't living that, your present life ain't your destination. One key to note is you have to take responsibility for your destiny. God has destined you for the best. You have to be active to take charge of it. God has blessed you from the beginning, Devil has been altering people' destinies. Don't let him alter yours

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
