Faith Without Works... PART 2

A story goes thus:
In a certain village, once, all villagers decided to pray for rain. On the day of prayer, all the people gathered but only a young boy came with an umbrella. THAT'S FAITH!

That young boy is said to have faith because of his action. Faiths and Works (action) goes together. When you have faith, you don't just pray for financial breakthrough alone. When you have faith, you don't just pray for job and sit down waiting. When you have faith, you don't just pray to pass your exams, you got to read. When you have faith, as a single person whose genotype is AS, you don't just marry someone whose genotype is also AS and think you won't have an SS genotype child. Wishful thinking is different from faith.

Do you believe in God? If yea, then you will work according to His commandment because you believe in Him. That is faith.

So many teachers have told you to just believe, take anointing oil or handkerchief and your business and job will boom. God is a God of favour. But that favour only manifest in the lives of those that believe and act. Peter acted by launching out into the deep and caught many fishes.

It's another lovely Thursday. If you have faith, you got to show you have it. For without it, no man can please God. In other words, when you don't act according to God ways Who you believe in, you can't please God.

Good Morning and do enjoy the beautiful thursday!

Our status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days.  My status is changing, there's no more decline I'm on my way to better days  Better days are in You, Jesus... My better life is in You, Jesus... Life's changing is in You, Jesus... My success is in You, Jesus... All I have to do is to look to You... Better days are with You... My f...

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me...

If Men Were God

He sends  rain  on the just and on the unjust. - Matthew 5:44 It's raining as I type this post and I remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:45 where he talks about  God sending the rain on both the just and unjust. God won't because are a sinner or a bad personal withdraw the rain from Falling on your side. One special trait we are to emulate from God is that we should not discriminate. If men were God, the rain will be raining only on the good, the sun will be shinning only on the perfect. We humans readily discriminate, we isolate those we feel are not perfect or good. We see those who have sinned as been candidates of hell as if we haven't sinned before. One major problem of our society is discrimination. Even in church, we discriminate, we see that prostitute and we readily condemned her. We readily forget that as children of God, we don't just do good to good people, we are to do good to everybody. It doesn't matter how bad a person might be, you ...
