For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
- Isaiah 9:6
This above verse is given as a reason of the victories that were predicted in the previous verses.
For our benefit. The prophet saw in vision the darkness and gloom of the nation, and saw also the son that would be born to remove that darkness, and to enlighten the world.
It's Christmas. Jesus is the reason for the season. He came that we might have life in its abundance. He came so that we might be rescued from the shackles of the evil one. He is the Prince of Peace. Celebrating Christmas goes beyond merriment and fun-fair. The question is do you know the child that was given that we celebrate? Do you know Jesus? If you don't, then what is your reason for celebrating Christmas?
Without Jesus, there is no Christmas. Without Jesus Christ in your life, you are in crisis. He is the reason why we live. Why don't you ask Him to come into your life. He is the reason for the season. When you have Jesus, you have everything. Celebrate Christmas in the Fullness of Jesus. Anything outside Him is vanity.
It's another great day. A joyful day, you have every reasons to be happy. If Jesus hasn't been given, I can't imagine what would have been of us. Once again celebrate but in the fullness of the given Child, Jesus.
Good Morning and do enjoy this beautiful Saturday!
