For God so love the world that He GAVE His ONLY begotten SON, that whoever believe in Him (The Son) Should not perish UT have everlasting life. - John 3:16
One funny thing about this Christmas is that when Jesus was physically on earth, He didn't celebrate His birthday neither do we have records of the early disciples celebrating it. (that's for another post).
Jesus came as a result of the Love of the Father (God). It was because God loves you, I and others is the reason why Jesus came. Christmas goes beyond the eating and drinking (though nothing wrong with that if done moderately). We have Jesus because of the Father's Love.
So the best way you can celebrate Jesus is to believe in Him as your Saviour and tell others about Him.
Those you're gonna give gifts to, cook for... beyond the eating and drinking. The best gift you can give them is to led the unsaved ones to Jesus. He is the Reason for the Season. The meaning of Christmas has been diluted over the years. To Jesus, coming to earth was a serious business, to do the Will of the Father and that should be your own business too. Never celebrate Christmas without telling people around you about Jesus. It's all about Jesus. You don't love them if you don't tell them about Jesus who Himself is the manifestation of the Father's Love for You.
And to those who wait till Christmas before giving gifts, next year, give spontaneously. Put smiles on people's face anytime anyday, not just till december.
Christmas without Jesus is empty. This is the real reason for Christmas found in Galatians 4:4-5
"But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son,born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship. "(Galatians 4:4-5)
I'm very happy and so should you. It's Christmas Folks. Good Morning and Compliment of the seasons to you. May the celebration of the first coming of the Messiah bring good tiding unto you. I Love you <3<3
