Agents of Transformation

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.- Romans 12:2

If you live in Ghana or Nigeria, you might have come across the new dance popularly called the one corner dance. One corner is the title of a song by  an upcoming Ghanaian artiste; I don't know if he also invented the dance as well.

What amazes me about the crazy dance is the way it spread and became widely accepted by folks in Nigeria, Ghana and beyond. The guy that create this dance is creative albeit in a wrong way. My local assembly (RCCG) is currently having a programmed tagged Agents of Transformation. I mediated on the theme and related it to the One Corner dance popularity. Every believer ought to be an Agent of transformation. But I'm surprised that the agents who are sent to transform are even the ones been transformed.

The one corner dance is funny and it's crazily weird but it also show our moral decadence. How I wish that dance Creator could create something beautiful and spectacular that will add value to other people's lives. Don't get me wrong, I'm not against dance styles or steps but I'm very much against a dance that doesn't nothing but glorify immorality.

As believers, we must be extra careful of what we do. The devil is seriously busy leading people astray, what are you busy doing? One corner is definitely attracting more and more people to it's emptiness and nothingness.

So, what are you creating, what is propelling you to action or what/who are you studying after? Agents of Transformation are creative believers that will consistently create what will attract or drive people to Jesus. Anything short of that is vanity. The only thing that makes sense in this senseless times is Jesus.

Don't waste your talents on vanity, rather use it to transform lives by winning souls for God. You can sing, dance, rap, model, act, talk, draw, etc... Use it all to bring people into the saving knowledge of Jesus. That is what makes you an Agent of Transformation.

My message to all 'One corner dancers': seriously, you got to find something worthwhile to do. Your time here on earth is limited, make it count.

Good Morning and a beautiful Saturday to you.

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
