What Makes It Right?

Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. - 2 Timothy 2:15

Because your pastor told you doesn't make it right.

Because your parents told you so doesn't make it right.

Because your teacher told you so doesn't make it right.

Because a popular man of God told you so doesn't make it right

Because your mentor or role model told you so doesn't make it right

Because it is widely acceptable doesn't make it right

Because everyone believe it doesn't make it right

Because it is not popular doesn't make it right

Because it is new to you doesn't make it right

Because I said so doesn't make it right

Because you trust the speaker doesn't make it right

Then, what makes it right?

It is right because God Word says so.

Naturally, humans tend to believe what is popular, we tend to believe what our popular pastors told us. Of course they could be right and they could be wrong.

Learn to read the Word of God for yourself. Only through that you could really read what God says and you get an insight into the Mind of God.

Study the Word for yourself and let the Spirit of God ministered to you, then you will get to know what is right.

When we are too lazy to read the scriptures, we become vulnerable to all kinds of wrong doctrines and they will look so awesome to us because we haven't taken our own time to study what His word says.

Example: The Word of God says a clergyman should be a man of one wife. A pastor is now taking a second wife because one 'spirit' told him. People still believe and followed him. It's totally wrong. The Holy Spirit will only confirm what is in His written Word. God and His Word are One.

It's a beautiful Saturday Morning. The sun is shinning so bright. I pray that the Word of God will shine so bright in your life.

Good Morning and a Good Day to You! 😊

Music: I Want to Live (Download)

I have another favourite song from the stable of Dunamis Ministry led by Pastor Paul Eneche.  The song is titled I want to live where you are. The song blesses me so much and I am sure you will be blessed by it. Below is the song lyrics and also a link where you can download the song. Verse 1 I want to  to live lord in the world of your Glory I want to live lord in the place where you are To stay away from the pressures & cares of this life. To stay away Lord from the ways of the world. (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to stay oh Lord in your resting place Lead me away from things that keep me from you Separate me from the things Lord that hinders me. (3*) Verse 2 Oh Lord my heart is longing for your precious presence To receive Lord the light of your countenance So I can escape the darkness that covers the Earth So I can escape Lord the path of error (2*) Chorus I want to live oh Lord just right where you are. I want to sta

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. The doctors said the possibility of the baby’s survival is slim to none, and it was during this period when his wife was on bed rest for two months that he wrote the song. There was nothing else for them to hold on to but faith, and the good news is that as slim as the chance was, it didn’t break because faith held it together and today their baby boy is alive.  When Jesus was on His way to heal Jairus’s daughter and news came that things had gone from bad to worse, that the girl was dead. Jesus overheard and said, "Don't be upset. Just trust me

Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science. Many at times we believers are like that; We live in sin , we disobey God and when we need something, we want to perform miracles, do signs and wonders in the Name of Jesus which we really belittle or don't value.  Someone once said during a plane turbulence, he saw unbelievers even shouting the name of Jesus. No wonder some folks suffered embarrassment like the sons of Sceva.  When
