The Limited Power of Witchcraft

To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God... 
 - Acts 26:18

I live in Africa, a continent where a slight headache could be said to be the works of the witches and wizardsIt's not very problems are caused by witches and wizards. Some problems are the consequences of our actions. Some problems are as a result of our ignorance. Some problems arises because we refused to do the right thing at the right time. Some problems are simply because we are out of God's will

It's high time believers stop praying the wrong prayer. Does Witchcraft exist? Yes it does exist. But it is unreasonable to attribute Every problems to witches and wizard.

One lie that Satan promotes is this: Nothing harmful happens by chance; everything bad that is not directly caused by someone occurs through mystical power (witches and wizards). For example, suppose that a child dies of malaria. His mother may know that malaria is a disease carried by mosquitoes. But she may also believe that someone used witchcraft to send a mosquito to bite her child.

While witches and wizards have the power to cause some problems, it is wrong to believe that they have the power to cause every problem. The Bible says: “The swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor; because time and unforeseen occurrence befall them all.” (Ecclesiastes 9:11) One runner in a race may be faster than the others, but he may not win. Some “unforeseen occurrence” may make him lose. Perhaps he stumbles and falls or he becomes ill or he pulls a muscle. These things could happen to anybody. They are not necessarily caused by Satan or through witchcraft; they just happen.

Some folks live in fear because they believe some witches and wizards are after them. Some folks can't even celebrate or drive their new car into the garage because of witches and wizard. While the witches and wizard may have some limited power, we clearly serve a God who is far greater than the witches and wizard and has given you the unlimited power to reign over them.

We are Conqueror, we are victorious, we walk in liberty in the light of the freedom that Jesus has given us.

It's the start of a brand new day, I pray that you will reign over every forces of darkness around you.

Made a Way: The Story Behind The Song

Made a way is a song written and sang by award winning artist Travis Greene in the year 2015. Many people knows the song but few actually know the story behind the song. The song was actually borne out of a personal testimony of Travis Greene. According to the artist, 'Made a Way' was written during an impossible situation. His pregnant wife’s water broke at 21 weeks, when pregnancy normally takes between 37-42 weeks. Lessons From the Sons of Sceva

....the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? - Acts 19:15 One funny incident that I read in the  Bible is about the seven sons of Sceva that attempted to use the Name of Jesus to cast out demons. The demons replied them that He knows Jesus and Paul, but who are they? They were given the beating of their life. (Acts 19:11-16) Were they wrong in using the Name of Jesus? No. But truth is they don't know nor understand that Name. They only want to use it selfishly just to get the results that Paul was getting. They thought it was a rocket science.
