Benefits of Reading The Bible Daily

But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. - Psalm 1:2

The law then in David's time is equivalent to our own Bible in this modern time.

In this year 2018, endeavor to read the Bible day and night. We know God better when we read His Word. A blessed man is the one that mediate on God's word everyday.

We should be delighted reading the Bible. Some benefits of mediating on the Scriptures include;

Revelation: we received fresh insight from God when we read and mediate on the scriptures. Before we can experience a revolution in our lives, there will be a revelation preceding it.

Inspiration: one special thing about the Bible is that it is uplifting, inspiring and encouraging. Believers are expected to be inspired when mediating on the scriptures. The Bible is a source of inspiration to us.

Freedom: The word of God brings liberty. An avid reader of the Bible receives freedom from the power of sin. The scriptures are powerful and mediating on them helps to overcome sins.

Faith: when we mediate on the scriptures, we received faith. Faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ” (Rom. 10:17). Your faith level is greatly dependent on your Bible reading level.

Apart from the above listed benefits, reading the Bible has a lot and lot of benefits for us.

This year, be commuted to mediating on the scriptures everyday.
